Favorite designers: “This fall, one of my favorites is Aldomartins, a line designed and made in Barcelona.”
Fall trends she loves: “We have great black-coated denim from Joe’s Jeans. Textured pants are another big trend for this season—add a cashmere sweater, and you can go anywhere.”
She a: Clotheshorse. “I also have a weak spot for shoes. I have a pair of black, flat Stuart Weitzman boots with leather fronts and knit backs that are comfortable enough to wear for a 12-hour retail day.”
Style icon: “Celebrity-wise, Anne Hathaway because of her pure and simple style. Designer-wise, Donna Degnan—she lives, designs and manufactures her line out of New York City. Her clothes have a great fit, and it’s an affordable line.”
Personal style: “Casual chic.”
Go-to casual outfit for a Saturday out: “I work on Saturday and, believe it or not, I wear out what I wore to work—just ask my friends. Usually it’s a tunic with tights and boots. It’s a
comfortable outfit to wear all day. ”
Go-to outfit for a Saturday night out in the city: “A favorite print dress with tights and boots.”
Splurges: “I always let the customers pick first. But once in a while, I can’t help myself to a great stand-alone novelty jacket.”
Favorite thing in her closet: “A black-and-white, patterned- check jacket from our shop 20 years ago. I’ve kept it all these years.”
