Notable Chestnut Hill chef Al Paris has teamed up with Benjamin and Robert Bynum for his second Germantown Avenue venture: the ’30s-style, bi-level Paris Bistro. The opening is slated for this spring in the Chestnut Hill Hotel spot that once hosted the Melting Pot.
Tashan executive chef Sylva Senat recently tucked a new accolade under his culinary belt. He was just named “America’s #1 Asian Chef” in the annual Supreme Asian Chef Culinary Battles hosted in Atlantic City.

Danny Meyer is gearing for the launch of a new Shake Shack in King of Prussia this fall. It will be the third of his upscale fast-food joints to invade the Philadelphia area in just a year’s time.
