Dr. Andrew Kanter, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
When he’s not in the office, Kanter is an avid bowhunter and fly-fisherman, lying or standing in wait for hours on end. He’s traveled to Mexico, South America’s Patagonia region and Canada’s Yukon territory in search of small game and grand experiences. “With bowhunting, you have to get very close to your prey, and it really requires careful decision-making and surgical precision,” he says. “Sitting in a tree-stand for hours and watching foxes and squirrels run right under you as the deer come in—that connection to nature is missing with so many people.”
