Nana’s Attic has been in operation since 2002 as a source of income for the Domestic Abuse Project. This quaint shop in Broomall sells everything from paintings to fishing rods and used electronics to shoes. Of course, it also has a fine selection of clothing, too.
Saint James Thrift Shop
409 E Lancaster Ave., Downingtown
Established all the way back in 1977 to help those in the Downingtown community with secondhand clothes, Saint James is still going strong 56 years later. An outreach as part of St. James’ Episcopal Church, the shop has been managed by the same person for the last 37 years. Now restricted to limited hours, Saint James is open 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Saint Alban’s Thrift Shop

The first thing you’ll notice about Saint Alban’s is its very limited hours. Their fall hours are restricted to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., so make sure to get in while you can. This church-based thrift shop is staffed by volunteers, and proceeds are distributed back into the community.

Westminster Thrift Shop is a part of Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester and now in its 33rd season. Though the shop is currently closed through Sept. 4, expect a host of new items upon its reopening. Westminster restocks daily, and you’re sure to find something special among the host of jewelry, paintings, clothing and accessories.
