Rob Wasserman, owner of The Saint James in Ardmore, announced earlier this week that the restaurant will close on Tuesday, Dec. 30. But that’s not the end for this Suburban Square spot. The restaurant plans to reopen approximately six weeks after heavy renovations.
Replacing the current Saint James menu of sandwiches, entrees, soups and salads will be a concept-driven, family-friendly, Italian-inspired restaurant. Wasserman plans to open the reinvented place in mid-February.
The Wasserman family moved to the Main Line from Center City after opening The Saint James two years ago. “We are working on creating a place that people will want to visit on a regular basis, with consistently delicious food in an inviting and cool environment,” said Rob Wasserman. “We thank everyone for their support and can’t wait to show our friends, family and neighbors what’s next.”
Saint James gift cards will be honored at the new location. Look for more details soon!
