The Saint James Opens in Ardmore

PLUS: HotHouse Coffee, O-Toro and Harvest in University City open their doors, while Aperto closes in Narberth.

Fresh Sushi & More

Wayne is now home to the wine, sushi and tapas bar, O-Toro, located inside the newish Landmark Americana restaurant. HotHouse Coffee has replaced the old MilkBoy in Bryn Mawr, and there’s been a beautiful renovation. Feeding off the success of Harvest in Glen Mills, Dave Magrogan has doubled up on the seasonal, low-cal concept with another location in University City.

Closed (For Now)

John Wolferth has shuttered his year-old Narberth BYO, Aperto. Apparently, lease issues were the culprit, but he’s hoping to pop up somewhere else along the Main Line in the near future. Hurry, please.

Kitchen Talk

Michael Schulson and Rob Wasserman of the recently opened The Saint James in Ardmore welcome Matt Moon (Talula’s Garden) as executive chef.
