The Foodery has been a staple Philadelphia beer bottle shop for 30 years, stocking over 800 craft beers and serving up handmade sandwiches, artisan cheeses, meats and snacks. Currently, The Foodery has locations in Center City (10th & Pine), Northern Liberties (2nd & Poplar) and Roxborough (6148 Ridge Ave.).
The shop will be branching out again, this time to Phoenixville, which recently has seen a surge of craft breweries, wineries and distilleries. The Foodery will be opening up at 325 Bridge Street in the former home of The Family Dollar store. Expect to find local craft beer as well as hard-to-find bottles and international brands. There definitely won’t be any six-packs of Bud Lite here. Bottles are available as singles, but can also be mixed to create a six-pack.

The current menu includes hot sandwiches like a house-made fennel sausage sandwich and short rib cheesesteak, as well as a host of cold sandwiches, salads, soups and cheese and meat plates.
No word on when The Foodery will open in Phoenixville just yet, but stay tuned to The Main Course for more details.
