The Barn at Valley Forge Flowers Launches Farm Shares with Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-op

The Barn at Valley Forge Flowers in Wayne has announced a collaboration with Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative to provide organic farm shares that offer members the best of both worlds: local, farm-fresh goods and convenience.

No need to race to the farmers market when it opens to get your pick of the best produce, meat and more. Farm shares allow members to enjoy authentic eats for 26 weeks, from May through October, in an array of options: veggies, meats, fruit, eggs, cheese, bread and herbs. Choose just one, or mix-and-match your favorites to create the ultimate menus for summer through fall.

All shares come from Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative, a nonprofit organic farmers’ cooperative comprised of 100+ farmers in Lancaster County. With a focus on the land, animals and people, LFFC products are fresher-than-fresh and raised humanely on small-scale family farms boasting highly-maintained and enriched soils.

The last day to sign up for your share is Friday, April 24. First pickup is the week of May 3. All pickups will be at The Barn at Valley Forge Flowers, located at 503 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne. Sign up online (choosing “PA: Wayne – VF Flowers” as your pickup location), or call (717) 656-3533.
