The Aston resident and ex-wife of a former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher will compete on The Golden Bachelor, ABC’s latest Bachelor spin-off.
One of Delaware County’s own will hit TV screens this month in ABC’s latest Bachelor spinoff, dubbed The Golden Bachelor, and you might already know her last name. Susan Noles is the ex-wife of former Philadelphia Phillies player and 1980 World Champion Dickie Noles. Today she lives in Aston and runs a wedding officiant business called Nuptials by Noles.
A lifelong Delco resident, Noles was a 1975 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan. Her appearances at reunions have endeared her to former classmates, who are preparing viewing parties to cheer her on throughout the show.

What is The Golden Bachelor on ABC?
The Golden Bachelor shares a concept with its parent show, The Bachelor. This season, 22 eligible ladies will vie for the love and attention of one man, Gerry Turner. This time, however, all contestants are at least 60 years old, and Turner, a widower himself, is 72.
Noles said in a promotional video for the show, “I’m 66, and my heart is wide open…The last chapter is the best chapter.”
Her ABC Golden Bachelor biography describes her as loyal and compassionate, but doesn’t fail to mention her golfing skills, probably why she’s hoping Turner with be “athletic, funny and honest.”
When not working for her wedding company or on the golf course, you can find Noles at the beach spending time with her children and grandchildren. A fan of reality TV herself, she one day hopes to meet Kris Jenner and loves live music and classic rock; two of her all-time favorite concerts are Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones.
