Summer Openings: Three New Restaurants

Share

>> Cheese, Please: The latest addition to downtown Wayne is Cornerstone Cheese & Charcuterie, an artisan shop and open kitchen backed by chef Christine Doherty Kondra. Opening this summer, it will feature cheeses and meats sourced locally and nationally, plus house sausages and pâté.

>> Fast and Healthy: Also this summer, b.good is expanding to the Wynnewood Square Shopping Center on Lancaster Avenue. The healthy, fast-casual hub serves house-ground burgers, sandwiches, kale and quinoa bowls, and gluten-free and vegan options.

>> Pennsylvania Proud: Look for special Made in PA sections to roll out in rebranded Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, enhancing support for the local distilling industry—which continues to grow, with 27 currently operating.

>> New on Main: Northern Liberties favorite El Camino Real has announced its pending arrival on Manayunk’s Main Street this fall, in the former home of Hikaru. The concept is saloon-meets-cantina, with an emphasis on brunch, margaritas and Texas barbecue.
