The Scoop: Set amid an expansive flower-and-sculpture garden on the banks of the Lackawaxen River in the Pocono Lake Region, this lodge was built in 1927 in the English Arts and Crafts style. It’s furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary décor.

Amenities: Complimentary bikes are available for exploring the area. A full country breakfast is included at the on-site fine-dining restaurant. Also included is an afternoon wine tasting. Every Wednesday during the summer, enjoy live jazz on the deck.

Don’t Miss: Antiquing in downtown Hawley, or take in the beauty of the area by strolling on the new lakeside trail. You can also rent a pontoon boat or Jet Skis from the nearby Lighthouse Harbor Marina to take out on Lake Wallenpaupack.
