The track to partner in a law firm is usually seven to 10 years. Stacey Fuller made it in a mere two, with a practice focused on municipal law and education.
What is the most fulfilling part of your job?
On the education side, whether I’m on the school side or the parent side, it’s being able to help children with special needs. I’ve been fortunate have success in the municipal world, as well. I was just elected chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Municipal Law section.
What advice would you give a lawyer who is just starting out?
Build relationships and a network on a personal and a professional level. It’s the relationships and the connections that you make, whether in your practice area, the bar association or in the community where you’ll find your clients, learn your craft and earn the respect of your peers.
