PIZZA NEWS: Peace A Pizza founders Pete Howey and Aaron Nocks have teamed up with local restaurateur Rob Wasserman to open a series of new Snap Custom Pizza locations around the area. Many will be in former Peace A Pizza storefronts, like the one that just appeared in Rosemont.
And the King of Prussia Mall expansion will include a Pizzeria Vetri, which Urban Outfitters bought from Marc Vetri last year.
MORE OPENINGS: Lehigh Valley restaurateur George Paxos (pictured) is set to debut Firepoint near the new Whole Foods at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square. The fifth rung in his culinary empire, it features an exhibition kitchen and a wood-fired grill.
CAFFEINE, PLEASE: The fourth annual Coffee and Tea Festival Philly happens Nov. 5-6 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. More than 50 exhibitors will offer tastings and introduce new products. The international event provides two days of seminars, pairings, tastings, food and more.
