Snap Custom Pizza Plans Expansion on the Main Line

Plus, Dave Magrogan prepares for an additional Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar.

>> PERSONALIZED PIES: Snap Custom Pizza is expanding its Ardmore-based reach, nabbing a storefront in the former home of Peace A Pizza in Main Street at Exton. The eatery allows patrons to customize their pies for a steal: $5.99 for a plain pizza and $7.49 to choose from dozens of toppings.

>> OWNERSHIP SHUFFLE: Philly culinary kingpin Marc Vetri has sold his restaurant group—which includes Pizzeria Vetri, Osteria, Amis, Alla Spina and Lo Spiedo—to hipster retailer Urban Outfitters. The company has experimented with in-store coffee shops, but this is its first serious foray into the restaurant industry. As for Vetri, his namesake eatery on Spruce Street is now his sole outpost.

>> MORE FARM-TO-TABLE: Dave Magrogan has announced that Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar will come to Radnor this spring, taking the former Susanna Foo space. The sixth location will feature an expansive design, with a dining room that can hold 200 and three patios with seating for 100. Meanwhile, a seventh Harvest is expected in Newtown, Bucks County, this summer.
