When it comes to dining options, respecting individuality and customizability has become essential. Across generations—from Baby Boomers to Millennials—everybody wants their food tailored to their taste buds. St. Davids’ ShredWich is doing just that, with a variety of sandwiches, salads and rice bowls, making them a great go-to for lunch.

Their customizable creations give a nod to wholesomeness, while remaining delicious. Guests choose from proteins like shredded pork, rubbed and braised, as well as chicken, brisket and turkey, similarly prepared. Vegetarian options include sautéed tofu with sesame-ginger sauce. A julienned array of vegetables get a quick sauté and seasoning before being served a la minute.

From-scratch ingredients top a bed of cilantro rice, mixed greens, or are tucked into freshly baked ciabatta. Even their potato chips are cooked in small batches, for freshness.

The fast-casual concept is the brainchild of Steve Ettinger, who has a mission to prepare flavorful, wholesome food, with quality and clean labeling in mind. His team shares in the mission and seem to enjoy what they do and create, offering plenty of helpful suggestions and pairings to customers.

Whether it’s upscale, quick-serve or grab ‘n go, our tastes are evolving, favoring high-quality, healthy ingredients prepared to our own specifications. A medley of fast casual eateries are gaining traction as a result, and ShredWich is among them, providing its own version of a wholesome dining experience when time is tight and individual tastes must be met.
