A Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and an occasional MLT contributor who lives locally, Sax channels the likes of Bob Dylan and Steve Forbert for this decidedly earthy and intimate 12-song release. Recorded and mixed by Cliff Hillis in Phoenixville, the album’s bluesy disposition was inspired by Sax’s work in Nashville with his equally talented wife, Suzie Brown, on her latest release, Almost There.
