For nearly two centuries, the Philadelphia Flower Show has regaled attendees with the beauty of nature. Founded in 1829 by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the show features myriad flowers and creative integrated architectural displays, plant sales and more. It is the largest and longest running horticultural event in the United States. This year’s theme, “Holland: Flowering the World”, features over 30,000 flowers, including a plethora of tulips and daffodils, and gives a nod to Dutch culture through bicycles and windmills in displays. The show will run through March 19. –Lisa Dukart
