The regional Landmark Americana Tap & Grill chain will be taking over the space that most recently housed the Paddock at Devon, which suddenly closed its doors in early January. No word as yet on an opening date. And Ella’s American Bistro in Wayne has added a yummy Sunday brunch to its menu. (Chicken and waffles, anyone?)
Dynasty in the Making
With locations in Philadelphia, Exton and Royersford, Han Dynasty is a frequent stop for those who crave Sichuan cuisine. Now, chef/owner Han Chiang is at it again, taking over the former Beijing Homestyle space at 4358 Main St. in Manayunk.
Out and About
Get your tickets for March 10’s Red Ball (theredball.org), where guests can partake in the restaurant competition, sampling cuisine from some of the hottest eateries in the city and voting for their favorites. The following night, plan on attending the Fair Food Philly Brewer’s Plate beer-and-food pairing, which celebrates local craft breweries, farmers and artisanal producers.
