A Shore Thing

More Than a Bakery
June brought the opening of Georges Perrier’s much-anticipated The Art of Bread in Narberth, with plenty of homemade baguettes to go around, along with pastries from Le Bec-Fin, open-faced sandwiches, quiche, muffins, croissants and more.

Florida Fresh
Hogfish Bar & Grill (hogfishwayne.com) has taken up residence in the old Osaka space in Wayne. There is no direct relation to the Florida Keys restaurant of the same name, but the menu does highlight seafood—like hogfish, flaky and white, with a sweet taste.
Trend Watch
Shopping at Whole Foods in Devon is even more pleasant these days thanks to the Mile Post Pub, part of the market’s recent expansion, offering local beers on tap and a by-the-glass Enomatic wine system.
