They are more able to weigh their options when considering products based on factors like health benefits, energy consumption, carbon footprint, local production, etc. They especially feel empowered knowing they are contributing to a product that is environmentally positive, diverting waste from landfills and keeping unprocessed resources intact for future generations, inspiring change.
