Personal style: Youthful and somewhat funky, yet polished. I aspire to be bold.
Favorite designers: Stacey Bendet for Alice + Olivia. Her clothes are whimsical, bold and interesting. Helmet Lang for the impeccable tailoring. Saint Laurent for the “cool girl” factor.
Style icons: Solange Knowles. She’s not scared to be controversial or unsexy. Julianne Moore for making interesting choices that aren’t always the obvious ones. And Elizabeth Banks always looks fresh, modern, appropriate and daring, without going overboard.
Go-to casual outfit for a typical Saturday out: Marc Fisher flat slide-on mules, black skinny jeans, a silky white blouse from the Salvation Army on South Street, an oversized, faded H&M denim jacket with a graphic of the American flag on the back and my black leather A.L.C. cross-body bag from Skirt in Bryn Mawr.
Go-to outfit for a Saturday night out in the city: An American Apparel T-shirt tucked into DL 1961 skinny jeans, suede Marc Fisher peep toe stiletto booties, and my red leather Blank NYC motorcycle jacket.
Favorite item in her closet: Asilio high-waisted pleather pants.
Item in her closet that gets the most wear: Black skinny jeans.
Most sentimental item: A vintage Kelly bag my husband gave me on my 30th birthday. I still carry the card he wrote zipped into the interior pocket.
Dream item: Givenchy calfskin shark-lock fold-over booties.
