QVC is Bringing Back its Beauty Bash Event this Weekend

The three-day experience, which runs June 7-9 at the Fillmore, will feature 40 beauty brands, speaker panels and an appearance by Ryan Seacrest.

After an eight-year hiatus, QVC is bringing back its popular Beauty Bash event. The three-day celebration will take place from June 7-9 at the Fillmore in Philadelphia and will feature 40 beauty brands, plus 17 speaker series and an appearance by iconic TV personality and producer Ryan Seacrest.

Beauty Bash first debuted a decade ago and was hosted at the retail giant’s West Chester headquarters, drawing some 2,000 individuals. “It was insanely popular when we first launched it,” says Ellen Lennon, QVC’s director of merchandising for beauty, adding that it was a great way for the video and e-commerce company to meet with customers “in person versus just through a screen and give them a chance to talk to some of their favorite brand founders, learn more about their products and learn about all things beauty.”

QVC is expecting its largest attendance ever for the event thanks to its relocation to the trendy music center, the Fillmore, with 3,000 attendees anticipated. Unlike in years past, the event will have social media activation, allowing customers at home to feel like part of the experience. “You’ll be seeing a lot of things on social [media] and also some live breakings into our QVC [broadcast],” Lennon adds.

QVC Beauty Bash attendees will receive a gift bag with products worth a minimum of $600.

The biggest difference this year, though, is the abundant speakers, a completely new addition from previous years. Speakers will cover a range of topics, including Jamie Kern Lima who will be having a “discussion on confidence and her life journey and how it’s gotten her where she is today with IT Cosmetics,” says Lennon. Lipstick maven Poppy King will also be among the speakers, talking about “the power of lipstick and its ability to transform not just how you look, but how you feel,” adds Lennon.

Other speakers include What Not to Wear’s Carmindy, whose beauty line QVC will be launching exclusively in September, Sunday Riley, Peter Thomas Roth and Josie Maran. Seacrest will also be there for the launch of men’s skincare line Polished by Dr. Lancer.

Expect to see many familiar QVC faces, too. Courtney Cason, Anteonella Nester, Jane Treacy, Elise Ivy and Kristine Zell are all slated to be in attendance, among many others, with some hosts doing meet-and-greets and photo ops throughout the weekend.

Tickets for Beauty Bash are still available online and will also be sold at the door. Prices range from $125-$225 per session.
