Q&A: Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital's Ramadevi Swaminath

As the medical director for BMRH’s stroke rehabilitation program, Swaminath is all about improving quality of life. For her, the fix is a sunny spot, a good book and green beans from Yangming.

Ramadevi Swaminath, 42, Malvern
Medical director, Stroke Rehabilitation Program at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital

» Coolest thing about her job: With rehabilitation medicine, you don’t just save a life—you improve the quality, as well.

» Last thing she read: The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. It’s a story about a dog, told from the dog’s perspective.

» Last thing she ate that she loved: I was at a party at Yangming restaurant where I had a simple dish of green beans sautéed with almonds. It sounds as vanilla as it comes, but it was so beautiful and tasty.
