Q&A: Cristina Desmond of Capital Wine & Spirits

The director of marketing and business analytics for Capital Wine & Spirits shares her take on the best meal on the Main Line.

Cristina Desmond, 33, Chester Springs
Director of Marketing and Business Analytics, Capital Wines & Spirits

» Coolest thing about her job: The products, of course. I get to talk about wine and spirits all day. I’ve also met some really great people who’ve become good friends.

» Last thing she read: I have to admit it was The Hunger Games trilogy. I know they’re for teens, but I’m obsessed.

» Last thing she ate that she loved: The poached halibut with braised kale and saffron aioli at the Desmond Hotel. I also have a love affair with the lobster crêpes at Sonata in Northern Liberties.

» The perfect vacation: Any that includes my husband and my son. A little beach and sun are always nice, too.

» What she likes most about herself: My passion and my drive. I’m also obsessively organized, but that may be bordering on a fault.

» Pet peeves: Lateness.

» Country or rock? Does pop count as rock?

» Ketchup or mustard? I’d never put mustard on my French fries!
