After college, I moved to New York City and took a job as a copywriter for Ralph Lauren. My sister and I would get dressed and explore the streets of New York while taking photos along the way—and Draped in Denim was born. After a couple of years, it was time for a change. I pitched the store idea to my mom, and she was in.
