Pretty Tasty Cupcake Opens in Conshohocken

The confectioner serves nut-free gourmet cupcakes, plus cookies and macarons.

Kim Strengari of the Conshy Girls is at it again, and this time she’s partnered with Erica Young out of Cape May, N.J., to bring the Main Line delectable nut-free cupcakes. The Conshy Girls Restaurant Group owner had one sweet taste of Young’s cookie dough brownie cupcake at the Pretty Tasty Cupcake Boutique in Cape May and was instantly hooked, so she decided to bring it to Conshohocken.

Pretty Tasty Cupcake was launched along with corporate catering and event planner Gabby Wallace on Feb. 3. Their gourmet cupcakes possess delightful flavor combos, plus they’re peanut- and tree nut-free. Young first began baking without nuts to accommodate her son’s severe peanut allergy, and before she knew it, her cupcakes were a hit among friends and family. That passion moved her to open her own bakery.

She adds to the allergen-friendly option on Saturdays, serving a choice of gluten-free options, which also are available to order upon request. Cakes and cupcakes can be customized for special occasions and parties, too.
