Pour Richard’s Coffee Company Debuts in Devon

Attention coffee addicts: A brand-new java stop just debuted along the Main Line and you will want to pop in for a perk up. Meet Devon’s Pour Richard’s Coffee Company.

Native Main Liners Rich and Mindyjane Berman introduced Pour Richard’s Coffee Company to Devon late, last year, reinventing the concept of the standard coffee shop. Situated across Lancaster Avenue from Whole Foods Devon, the small batch, third wave coffee cafe features a “unique approach to coffee,” with Rich house-roasting twelve single origin coffees for your sipping pleasure.

Additionally, coffee education ranks high within Pour Richard’s mission. Every Wednesday afternoon, from 1–3 p.m., experience a public cupping, organized weekly to expose and teach interested patrons about the many characteristics of a well-roasted coffee bean. After-hours events are also on the agenda for the new coffee company, such as private cuppings or pairing events, where they’ll couple java with cheeses, beers, chocolates, milks and cuisine.

In addition to serious cups of coffee, score espresso drinks crafted from the house Synesso Cyncra espresso machine, French pastries baked daily, savory quiche, and sandwiches and salads provided by the Wayne’s Tredici Italian Market. Other beverages like loose leaf teas, hot cocoa, and Italian sodas are available for non-coffee drinkers.
