Personal Style
Casual wear and street style. I love jeans. They’re always going to be my staple.
Her Blog’s Evolution
I fell into it when it was very much a counterculture community online. When brands started getting involved and taking notice, it became a business venture. I was lucky because I’d gotten in early and already had built an audience. Three or four years ago, it seemed like fashion was the one area that was the most untapped at that point, at least for my age range.
Her Reader
Women who are at the point where their kids are getting older, they’ve been in the trenches of motherhood or working moms for 10 or 15 years, and the fashion landscape looks different. It’s very much real life—affordable day-to-day lifestyles.
Go-To Day Look
Jeans, a cute T-shirt and maybe a cardigan or jacket. I love a good ballet flat or loafer.
Recent Additions To Her Closet
Joggers and leggings. I’ve never really worn them as streetwear, but I’ve been trying to find things that are cute and still look stylish.
Fit Philosophy
It’s easy to find cute pieces, but putting them together and making them work for your specific body type is where it gets really challenging. You can make almost any type of clothing look good if it fits well and the portions are right.
Her Splurges
Denim and designer handbags.
Favorite Denim Brands
AG Jeans, rag & bone and Paige. AG Jeans is my gold standard.
