Philadelphia's Amis Comes to Devon Yard Project

Marc Vetri brings his successful restaurant to the Main Line.

Main Line fans of Marc Vetri’s Roman trattoria, Amis, will be getting a location closer to home. Plans for a location in Devon Yard, next to the Devon Horse Show grounds, are underway. Ther have already been zoning meetings for the multipurpose space, which will also have retail (Anthropologie, Terrain) and residential features.

The original Amis came on board in 2010 in Center City (S. 13th St.) to high praise, nabbing recognition from Bon Appétit as one of the Top 10 Places for Pasta in the U.S. While house-made pastas continue to be its forte, farm-fresh meats, peak-season veggies and a serious salumi program round out the menu. A similar food roster to the premiere location is expected to debut in Devon.

The Vetri family had previously announced that Pizzeria Vetri will also open in the same development. Devon Yard is still in the planning phase, so there is no projected opening date yet.
