Philadelphia Antiques & Art Show Returns This Month

The vintage show will take place from April 21-23 at the Navy Yard.

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW … : Period furniture, jewelry, artwork and ceramics are just a sampling of the treasures you’ll find at the 55th annual Philadelphia Antiques & Art Show. Sixty of the country’s finest dealers will share their wares April 21-23 at the Navy Yard. Local dealers include Downingtown’s Philip H. Bradley Co., Bryn Mawr’s Diana H. Bittel Antiques, and HL Chalfant American Fine Art and Antiques in West Chester.

Don’t miss a morning tour where guides point out notable items and answer questions. Then stop by the exhibit of American flags, which pays tribute to Philadelphia’s new Museum of the American Revolution, opening April 19.

On April 21, catch New York-based interior designer Meg Braff’s lecture, “It’s All in the Mix: The Art of Reinterpreting What Is Old and Making It New Again.” She’ll explain how she selects fine antiques and vintage pieces and mixes them with modern objects. Braff will also sign copies of her book, The Decorated Home.

Our Best of the Main Line Final Ballot is open through February 28!
