October Restaurant News & Events

Say hello to the new 401 Diner, Tired Hands Brewing Company and Paramour. PLUS: Phoenixville’s Pepperoncini Sotto holds special wine dinners.

New in Town

Sometime around the New Year, Main Liners can look forward to Belgian and French farmhouse-style ales and a simple menu inspired by local ingredients at Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore. And they’ll also make their own crusty, baked bread every day. After a two-year renovation and expansion, the Wayne Hotel is set to unveil Paramour, a bar and restaurant serving modern American cuisine. They’re promising a pre-November opening, and look for chef Maurice deRamus (A la Maison, La Petite Maison) cooking up seasonal and affordable dishes. The specialty cocktail menu looks enticing, too.

The 411

Michael Cappon and Tom and Peter Richter of Conshohocken’s Isabella have reopened the 401 Diner at Fourth Avenue and Fayette Street. In true Isabella style, the new BYO now offers healthier dishes using local, organic ingredients.

Wine and Dine

Phoenixville’s Pepperoncini Sotto is stepping it up this month, offering a four-course dinner with wine pairings each Monday throughout the month (except Columbus Day).
