Now Open in Suburban Square: First-Ever Main Line Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies

The opening marks the shop’s second location in the Philadelphia area.

The second Robeks fresh juice and smoothie shop in the Philadelphia area opened this week in Ardmore’s Suburban Square shopping center, bringing the brand’s made-to-order product to the Main Line. Kimberly Berger, Regional Director for Robeks, and her partners originally launched the business last summer as a food truck and built a devoted following with stops at LOVE Park and The Oval. She opened her first brick-and-mortar Robeks at 11th and Chestnut streets in Philadelphia, across from Jefferson University Hospital, in fall 2014.

Kimberly made the decision to invest in Robeks and bring it to the region after moving to the Main Line from Fairfield, Conn., where Robeks was part of her daily routine. “After spending the majority of my career in a traditional corporate environment, I was looking for something else to be passionate about and an outlet where I could make an impact on families in my community. We chose Robeks because of their commitment to being natural and wholesome … I’m really excited about the Suburban Square location because it’s my backyard.”

Robeks’ hand-crafted, custom-designed juices and smoothies use fruits picked at the peak of ripeness, maximizing flavor and nutrients and avoiding granulated sugar. Smoothies are made with Greek yogurt, offering a double protein boost for those on the go. Dairy-free, soy and almond milk options are also available, and farm-fresh, local produce is sourced whenever possible.

The Suburban Square store will open early to serve commuters as they head to work and will remain open until 8 p.m. every day except Sunday. A grand opening event is planned for Saturday, June 6, as part of Suburban Square’s Spring Sidewalk Sale. Bring the whole family and sample fresh juices, smoothies and bowls; enter to win gift cards and other freebies; and enjoy kids’ activities and live music from Ardmore’s Studio 1200.
