Now Open in Glen Mills: Cask Bistro and Tap

The team behind Media’s Desert Rose is bringing French-Mediterranean fare to Concordville Town Center.

Cask Bistro and Tap, an upscale French-Mediterranean restaurant, opened in Concordville Town Center in Glen Mills on Feb. 8. Owners, chef Jason McHugh and his wife Natali Shiri, are also the couple behind Desert Rose in Media.

The menu includes soups, like crab veloute and tomato bisque, and salads including chopped Greek and orzo pasta with olives and goat cheese. Dishes will also include reasonably-priced sandwiches and small plates ($9–$17) like buttermilk-fried chicken baguette with pickled cabbage slaw and harissa aioli and calamari with sweet and sour peppers, pickled shallot, herbs and tomato fondue. Large plates are all under $30 and include diver scallops with braised pork belly, cabbage confit and gastrique reduction and roasted chicken with Israeli couscous, apricot and olive.
