Author Elizabeth LaBan, who penned The Restaurant Critic’s Wife, released earlier this year, will discuss her book on Oct. 19, at Yangming. The wife of local restaurant critic Craig LaBan, she knows plenty about the topic she wrote about.
Tickets include cocktails and appetizers courtesy of Yangming and wine courtesy of Lauber Fine Wine & Craft Spirits. LaBan will share her enticing tale about writing and living with a “fact-crazed, anonymity-obsessed restaurant critic.” People magazine recently hailed the book as “thoroughly entertaining” and listed it on their Great New Fiction list.
Guests are invited to bring a copy of the book, or books can be reserved in advance ($15 hardcover, $10 paperback). An added perk, proceeds from the evening will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Reservations can be made by calling 610-649-9290 or by email at cookline99@aol.com.
