» Move over, Marley. There’s a new dog in town: An Argentinean Dogo from Penn Valley named Oogy stole Oprah’s heart when the dog and his family—Larry, Noah, Dan and Jennifer Levin—joined her for Amazing Love Stories this past Valentine’s Day. The unlikely celeb met the Levins five years ago at Ardmore Animal Hospital, where office manager Diane Klein and owner/vet Dr. James Bianco were caring for the puppy, which had been rescued by police during a dogfight raid. After hearing how Oogy had been thrown in a cage with a trained-to-kill pit bull and emerged with the left side of his face eaten off, Larry Levin and his twin sons “had to” adopt him. Love at first sight evolved into a special relationship; for the past two-and-a-half years, 17-year-old Dan and Noah have slept downstairs with Oogy. When the Mike Vick story broke, a friend gave Larry a contact at Oprah, but it wasn’t until mid-February that he got a call. On a whirlwind timetable, a crew shot nine hours of footage at Rolling Hill Park in Lower Merion, Ardmore Animal Hospital and the Levins’ home. Then Larry and Oogy headed to Chicago via car—because the dog “associates being in a box with having his ear cut off”—where they joined the rest of the family for a live taping on Feb. 12.

» Hottie alert: Hollywood heartthrob Luke Wilson will be doling out the eye candy at Bryn Mawr College in late April and early May. He’ll be on campus to film Tenure, a comedy about a college professor.
