Berwyn’s Nectar boasts an award-winning wine collection—more than 600 varieties from around the globe—and regular wine dinners. Now its expert sommeliers will share their insider knowledge. Beginning March 12, Nectar will feature a wine class, complete with a tasting and hors d’oeuvres, every second Monday of the month from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
For $35 per person, you can learn about what you’re drinking, where the wines come from and how the grapes are grown and harvested. The pros behind the wine cellar—Scott Zoccolillo and Chris Marcus—will share everything you ever wanted to know about wine, with each class covering a unique topic.
To accompany the wine tasting, chef Patrick Feury has created savory hors d’oeuvres from his signature Asian-inspired and French-infused menu. Nectar is known for its eclectic and creative menu of fresh sushi, organic poultry, fresh produce and locally produced cheese, so expect some delicious pairings.
