Moon Krapugthong's Ya Thai Launches at Ardmore Farmers Market

PLUS: Bar Lucca comes to Conshohocken and Kennett Square gets a beer boost.

Moon Rising

Restaurateur Moon Krapugthong, of Manayunk’s Chabaa Thai and Yanako, launchs her newest culinary project, Ya Thai, this month in Ardmore Farmers Market. The grab-and-go eatery will offer authentic dishes and stock pantry items like curry pastes, seasonings and more.

Conshy Revival

Late last month, StoneRose owner Brian Pieri ushered in a new Italian concept in Conshohocken. His Bar Lucca can be found in the former Hector Street home of Totaro’s. The kitchen focuses on house-made pasta and brick-oven pizza—and there’s an adventurous wine list, as well.

Bottoms Up

Two craft-beer-centric businesses are prepping for a downtown Kennett Square debut. The Delaware-based Two Stones Pub will introduce its second location in October, offering more than 20 beers on tap, brews to go, and gastropub grub. Meanwhile, Kennett Brewing Company is forecasting a late-2013 opening. Its ever-changing lineup of house-crafted beers should pair nicely with the traditional taproom fare.
