Michael Cook

What they do: Michael Cook continues the tradition started by his father in 1946 – bringing smiles to people’s faces with gifts of fine jewelry, designed to celebrate life’s special occasions. Trust us, just because Walter J. Cook Jeweler is celebrating 70 years on the Main Line, doesn’t mean they’re old fashioned.

Philosophy: Jewelry should make you feel special.

Trendcasting thoughts: Large bracelets and cuffs worn over sleeves for a little extra flair. Ear cuffs large and small were seen on the runway this season. Bohemian style pieces with mixed metals as well as large statement necklaces and chokers signaled a stylist shift in jewelry design. Fashion designers featured layered necklaces and baroque inspired earrings, rings and long pendants in Paris, New York and Milan. Stunning pearls were paired with denim and sporty sweaters for a casual elegance.
