The Brandywine Valley Craft Brewers’ Festival will unfold on Saturday, May 14, from 1–5 p.m. on State Street outside of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant’s Media location. Now in its 16th year, the event benefits the Media Youth Center, which offers a wide array of recreational and educational programs and provides a safe environment for youth to expand their minds, grow their bodies and have fun.
The rain-or-shine festival includes a commemorative tasting cup, unlimited beer tastings and live music. Food will be available for purchase on a pay-as-you-go basis. The best part is the many local breweries partaking—more than 25 will be in attendance, including 2SP, Lancaster Brewing, Manayunk Brewing, Neshaminy Creek, Pinocchio’s Beer Garden, Saint Benjamin Brewing, Ship Bottom Brewery, Sterling Pig Brewery, Stewart’s Brewing Company, Tröegs Independent Brewing, River Horse Brewing, Round Guys Brewing, Boxcar Brewing, Flying Fish Brewing, Yards Brewing, Big Oyster Brewery, Conshohocken Brewing, Stoudts, Weyerbacher and Twin Lakes.
Tickets are $45 per person or $5 for designated drivers and can be purchased at www.ironhillbrewery.com.
