“Mark Prodoehl’s mother, Gloria, fought an intense battle with pancreatic cancer. Sadly, she passed away in 2013, a few years after her sister, Diana, was lost to the same disease. To honor them, Mark and his siblings organized the Gloria Prodoehl and Diana Agozzino Memorial Run/Walk. The family has raised nearly $15,000 for the Lustgarten Foundation. ‘In the short time we’ve held it, the walk/run has become a support group of sorts,’ Mark said. ‘Participants share stories about their loved ones with pancreatic cancer or [those] who have lost the fight.’”
