Marguerite Adzick, founder and CEO of Addison Bay, grew up with a love of all things stylish. Check out her fashion inspiration here.

Her Style: Modern. Happy. Classic. Fun.

Her Fashion Roots: My earliest memory in life was with my oldest brother, who’s 14 years older than I am, helping me pick out my outfit for school one morning. He held up a black-and-white polka dot dress with a Peter Pan collar, and it felt like a no-brainer for a casual Tuesday. I should’ve known then that fashion would be an important part of my life and eventually turn into my career.

Style Motivation: Fashion can be fun and endorphin-boosting. There’s enough to be serious about, and fashion is not it.

Indispensable Wardrobe Item: Too many to choose from. I love all my treasures. From my investment pieces to fast fashion, my wardrobe is made up of pieces that create the building blocks of my wardrobe.

Favorite Places to Shop: Suburban Square in Ardmore has made a serious comeback. It’s the perfect mixture of shopping, fitness centers and restaurants in a beautifully manicured outdoor walking mall. It’s also home to our second retail store, which I absolutely adore.

Fashion Icon: Too many to count, but some of my favorites are Jackie O, Princess Di, Farrah Fawcett and Zendaya. I love taking little bits from some of my fashion icons to create my own personal style.

Most Memorable Fashion Purchase: I babysat for years and quite literally saved all of my pennies to buy my very first Chanel bag. I planned a trip to the Big Apple and bought my first investment piece. I can’t wait to pass it down to my little girl someday.

Thoughts on Aging: Bring. It. On. I have a lot to show for my 34 years, and I’m proud of aging. And aging as gracefully as possible is, of course, ideal.

Makeup Tip Every Woman Can Appreciate: Under-eye concealer over everything. All multitasking, on-the-go gals know that we need a bit of love to cover up the under-eye circles from the not-so-perfect less than eight hours of sleep.

Favorite Fragrance: Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum by Viktor&Rolf. I’ve loved this scent for 10-plus years, and it reminds me of such happy occasions.

Fashion No-No: I strongly dislike any outfit combo in black and hot pink.
