As the 2014 Grand Champion, Marple Newtown High School will lead this year’s parade, serving as the Honor Band. Three professional judges evaluate the bands on music execution and general effect, marching style and presentation, and use of color.

Participants will vie for more than $5,000 in prize money, with the Grand Champion walking away with $1,200. Winners will be announced immediately following the parade in front of the historic Courthouse at the intersection of High and Market streets.
