Van Cleve Paoli

Christmas is the most popular time of the year to get engaged. If your significant other has continued that trend, head to the Wedding Pavilion at Van Cleve Dec. 26-29, when brides-to-be receive 19 percent off any veil with the purchase of a bridal gown. Popular designers include Pronovias, Watters, Romona Keveza and Anna.

1604 E. Lancaster Ave., Paoli, (610) 647-5055, www.vanclevebridal.com.

The month of December is all about giving back—and that’s exactly what local jewelry designer Alexis Kletjian is doing. Proceeds from her new mini shield necklaces—an award-winning original design— benefit YoungMoms, a nonprofit serving and equipping local mothers with the skills, connections and resources necessary to thrive. Some 43 necklaces will be donated to moms in the program, and Kletjian will also raffle off stockings in her gallery.
