Mochitsuki Festival

Participate in traditional Japanese mochi making during MAIDO!’s annual Mochitsuki Festival. Mochitsuki, or the act of pounding rice to make mochi cake, is a popular New Year’s tradition in Japan.

Bird Walk at the Newlin Grist Mill

Join the Newlin Grist Mill and Wild Birds Unlimited-Concordville for a naturalist-led walk through the 160-acre Glen Mills park. Learn the basics of bird identification, meet year-round residents and spot migrant species.
