Paoli’s Purenergy is hosting outdoor classes in a variety of yoga styles at Church of the Good Samaritan. The 60-minute classes are perfect for novices and advanced yogis alike.

 

Unity Yoga

Daily, Manayunk

With studios in Manayunk and Chestnut Hill, this local yoga studio is taking the mats outdoors with daily classes in Pretzel and Canal View parks. Find schedules at the beginning of each week on Facebook and Instagram.

 

Yoga in the Field at Mt. Airy Lavender Farm

Sundays, Coatesville

Two sisters transformed their family farm into a lavender oasis, and now visitors can enjoy relaxing Sunday morning yoga among the fields. Instructors Amanda Daley and the Transformation Yoga Project’s Brianne Murphy lead the classes.

 

Jtown Hot Yoga

Weekly, Manayunk

With studios in Manayunk, Jenkintown and Maple Shade, N.J., Jtwon specializes in hot yoga. While classes are typically held in a heated room, this summer, the studio is offering (almost equally) toasty outdoor classes on Venice Island and in Gorgas Park.

 

Main Line Animal Rescue with Tuck Barre & Yoga Studio

Aug. 8, Chester Springs

Main Line Animal Rescue and Philadelphia’s Tuck Barre & Yoga Studio are teaming up for a 90-minute morning yoga class on MLAR’s expansive Chester Springs farm. The outdoor class will fetaure some furry teacher’s assistants, with half of the proceeds benefiting the nonprofit’s animal welfare mission.

 

Penns Woods Winery with MERRYyoga

Aug. 9 and 23, Sept. 13 and 27, Chadds Ford

Enjoy a 60-minute gentle yoga class at Penns Woods Winery led by instructors from MERRYyoga. Bonus: Attendees get a souvenir Penns Woods wine glass, plus 10 percent off any (well earned) wine purchases.

 

Mindful Movement Yoga Festival

Sept. 19, Phoenixville

Seasoned yogis won’t want to miss this all-day outdoor yoga event at Kimberton Park. Try a new yoga practice, visit local vendors, nosh on lunch from Kimberton Whole Foods, and participate in a variety of classes throughout the day. Don’t miss the goat yoga session hosted by Horses & Goat Yoga.
