On Thursday, Jan. 19, at 10 p.m., the Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay will pit the fabulous Feury brothers, Patrick and Terence, against brothers Michael and Bryan Voltaggio.

The Philadelphia area is very familiar with Patrick, of Nectar, and Terence, formerly of Fork and Tavro 13, now at The Grill at Forty 1° North in Newport, R.I. The Voltaggios were the winner and runner up, respectively in season six of Bravo’s Top Chef.

Beat Bobby Flay’s episode guide states, “There’s no brotherly love in the arena as chefs and brothers Patrick and Terence Feury duke it out for the nod of approval from Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. Which brother will represent the family against Big Daddy Bobby Flay?”

For those unfamiliar with the show, it pits talented chefs in a head-to-head competition for the chance to beat Bobby Flay, as the show’s name suggests. To get to Flay, chefs must first face off against one another, creating a spectacular dish with a secret ingredient of Flay’s choice.

Judges Jason Hicks, Raquel Pelzel and Michael Vignola know Flay’s strengths and weaknesses. Their goal is to pick the chef who has the skills to take him down in his own arena. The winning chef gets to challenge Flay with his surprise signature dish. If Flay loses, the winner can proudly proclaim, “I beat Bobby Flay!”

Tune in Jan. 19, to see if the Feury brothers will Beat Bobby Flay
