» Book on her night stand: Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. In the first part of the book, the author is touring Italy and, in addition to describing the beautiful country, she’s doing a marvelous job describing the food she’s eating. I’m getting very hungry as I’m reading it.

» iPod song on repeat: Now that it’s beautiful weather, one of my favorite walking songs is “Jessica” by the Allman Brothers. It’s so upbeat and it just energizes me.

» Restaurant of the hour: Tinto. I like to explore lots of different dishes at a seating.

» Personal heroes: I admire and salute—and I’m in absolute awe of—the principals, teachers and staff in the northwest region of Philadelphia, and how they really have this positive determination to create and sustain great outcomes for students. My dissertation is dedicated to the principals.

» One thing she knows for sure: I love my family.

» Very own vici: Raising two wonderful children. My most recent accomplishment is that I successfully completed my doctorate and will be graduating May 17. And a third is that I was selected superintendent of Radnor Township School District.

» Zen destination: I love being outside, so anywhere that’s near the water.
