Knots & Weaves Decorative Rugs and The Loft at Knots & Weaves Celebrate Grand Opening

Though technically not a new venture, the storefronts on King Street are new homes for the 10 year old business.

Rugs and More

This month, Jim and Kerry Greim celebrate the grand opening of Knots & Weaves Decorative Rugs and The Loft at Knots & Weaves. Technically, the business isn’t new. The Greims first launched their showroom in Malvern 10 years ago. In December 2010, however, fire devastated the business. The couple launched a pop-up shop in the former Malvern firehouse. In the meantime, a space along King Street became available. “The location is perfect,” says Kerry. “We’re right across from Sheffield furniture, and we have a parking lot in the back.”

The new place has a showroom on the first floor; the second level features a collection of independent local retailers and a café. “It’s a welcoming atmosphere where people can come with friends for lunch and then shop,” says Kerry.

Participating retailers include Consign for Design (furniture and more from professional picker Rick D’Amico), Shutters and Sand (hand-painted vintage furniture), the Blue Rooster (linens, pottery, soaps and more), and a selection of gift items handpicked by the Greims.
