King of Prussia Adds 7 New Eateries

Plus, Penns Woods Winery hosts an event car aficionados won’t want to miss.

>> KOP EATS: The King of Prussia Mall Pavilion expansion brings another Shake Shack to the shopping mecca, along with Hai Street Kitchen & Co., Nicoletta Pizzeria and the Melt Shop. And Top Chef winner Kevin Sbraga (pictured) plans to open a second outpost of The Fat Ham, featuring 65-plus seats, a communal table and a bar. The menu will focus on Southern-style comfort food. Pizzeria Vetri—sold to Urban Outfitters last year—will also join the scene in a new cluster of UO brands. 

In the nearby King of Prussia Town Center, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse has been added to a list of eateries that includes Fogo de Chão, Paladar Latin Kitchen, City Works Restaurant & Pour House, Naf Naf Grill, Founding Farmers and Honeygrow

>> BEER HERE: Kennett Square’s new Creamery features a full list of local craft brews, plus the cuisine of chef Jeremy Nolen (Whetstone Tavern, Brauhaus Schmitz). The menu features small plates, salads, sandwiches and smoothies.

>> WINE AND WHEELS: Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford hosts a showcase of luxury sports cars on Aug. 20. Enjoy live music and cuisine from area food trucks. Wine seminars and tours of the vineyard are also available.
