Each month, Kildare’s in West Chester hosts a special beer pairing dinner, choosing four beers from a selected brewery and complementing them with special courses by chef Stephanie Gray. On Sept. 7, from 6:30–8:30 p.m., Kildare’s will showcase Illinois’ Half Acre Beer Company. Here’s a look at the menu:
First Course
Akari Shogun Pale Wheat Ale
Grilled shrimp with jicama, lemon and lime vinaigrette
Second Course
Daisy Cutter Pale Ale
Arugula, orange, walnut, blue cheese salad with Daisy Cutter vinaigrette
Third Course
Hot Tropic (Coconut Touched Pale Ale—Very Rare)
Chicken curry—mango, onions, red peppers and coconut rice
Fourth Course
Vallejo IPA
Brown sugar grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream
The cost is $35 per person, excluding gratuity.
